Tom and Carlo are both very involved in politics and wanted a “statement wedding.” Money was not the issue but time was. They were lucky in getting one of the best local wedding planners to work with them right from the start. With a little bit of help and a lot of cash they were able to get a big church it looked a little cold but it was nothing that flowers can't fix. On the big day two limousines brought the bridal party to a church filled with 200 people.
The service was traditional and the music classical. The reception was at one of the best hotels with a dinner, wine, champagne, and dancing. Best of all every thing was both photographed and the video of the day was skillful made into a documentary that the could really enjoy. [Cost: $20,000.00 to $30,000.00] What did they pay for:
invitations
postage
return postage
marriage license
rings
wedding planner
rehearsal dinner
Church fees
Church donation
fee for officiating
Music at church
singer
flowers for church
limousines
flowers
photographer

banquet hall
Catering
tips
wine
champagne

music at reception
gifts for everyone that helped
Comments: This was not about saving money but getting a wedding planner in early did mean that no money was wasted. Note they did not pay for an open bar.
